This is the New Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss Limited Edition
For Several years now, Mercedes has teamed up with McLaren, a Formula 1 Racing company to produce one of the fastest automobiles in the world, the Mercedes SLR. THis vehicle has become an icon for Mercedes with various celebs such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears spotted driving around L.A. With the SLR coming to the end of its production Mercedes decided to come up with a Limited Edition supercar for the end of the line. Enter the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss Limited Edition. This monster of a supercar is named after the british race car driver that won the Mille Miglia in 1955 in the original 300 SLR. The styling is obviously taken from that original race car and I think its destined for fame. Mercedes is only offering 75 roadsters to current SLR owners to close out the supercar’s tenure, so when these windscreen-free, 650 hp monsters are gone, that’s it for the SLR.
